Carrieanne Vivianette is a Performing Arts Practitioner who approaches performance work prioritising theatricality and catharsis through the body and voice using disjointed narrative fragments. She structures work to present multiple elements of the subject matter, conveying the many ways to view it, bringing abstraction to the work.

 

She is currently developing her practice to be inclusive, through Creative Audio Description and British Sign Language. What is important to her is that the audience and artist are brought together to experience a collective sense of presence. She has been producing her own contemporary performance work and working on a freelance basis since 2010. She holds a deep interest in the Theatre of the Absurd and radical women through the ages which informs her practice.
